Let’s remove the source of stress in our lives. Don’t bring office stress into your homes and vice versa.
Shut down office work as soon as you walk out of office.
1. Get enough sleep
The more time you allocate to resting, the more efficient your performance will be when it comes to ticking items off your list. Getting between 7-9 hours of sleep each night is crucial to stay focused the next day. This will also keep you motivated throughout the day. Your brain needs rest to get charged for the next day .for a peaceful sleep, don’t watch TV / stimulating / violence related shows half an hour before your sleep time. Stay away from mobile half an hour before. .make sure your sleep time is same each day to adjust to your biological clock. Don’t force yourself to stay awake when you start feeling sleepy.
2. Drink water
Feeling irritable is a common consequence suffered due to dehydration. Drinking 1.5-2 liters of water is essential, especially if the majority of your day is spent staring at the computer and there is a lack of high-intensity physical activities. Drinking enough water relieves fatigue, promotes weight loss, flushes out toxins, boosts immune system, prevents cramps and sprains and improves skin complexion.
3. Exercise 30 minutes per day
You don’t even need to own a yoga mat or a hardcore workout regime, let alone be physically flexible, to reap the benefits of this ancient practice. There’s a ton of research about yoga’s role in stress reduction, and even taking 10 minutes to breathe and stretch in any way that feels good to you can be incredibly soothing, say Dr. Pankaj Kumar, the best psychiatrist in East Delhi.
4. Try to shun off negative thoughts from your mind and negative people from your life.
5. Meditation
This is another well-researched stress-relieving practice that people are intimidated by. Meditation is actually super simple and really effective once you just do it, even for two minutes. Forget about clearing your mind thing and focus on breathing.
